Approached after kitchen was and tiles were already ordered, (We were brought in at the recommendation of the tile store in Jerusalem) The clients realized with the help of the tile vendor that they really needed someone to coordinate the work they wanted to do, as they increasingly realized that they had many issues which should be addressed before their kitchen and lift come in. Carefully, we zeroed in on their wish list for the entry floor, and also on the effects of what was planned for the space, including kitchen which had been ordered and the furniture which was on
it's way.
Analysis quickly showed that with the kitchen which as ordered would have a constricted entry which would pinch the intended dining room. Our solution was in the addition of a glass window bay to provide the necessary relief to the constriction while, together with three newly enlarged windows, providing the airiness and spaciousness which was another primary goal.
At the same time, we recommended reconfiguration of the already- ordered kitchen units, which have now created and beautiful eat-in living space in the kitchen which the previous layout didn't provide for.
